Between men and women

 Men want to become the leader. They speak with a loud voice. When they talk with friends or women, they only talk about their military life and soccer. They don't talk so much nor they listen to others.
 Women want to keep relationship between people. They want to talk a lot with their friends. They like talking about their feelings. They speak indirectly and they want to solve problems with talking.
 When men talk with women, they can think differently. They insist that their own opinions are right, because they have different personalities. That's why they need to understand each other.

Difference

When I was angry, I swore with unspeakable words. At that time, someone told me, “You are a girl, so you shouldn’t swear and you should use beautiful language.” It was my fault to swear. But I was annoyed when I heard that. Why should girls use beautiful language? If some girl who has good personality, she can be angry. But she can be really angry, are you sure she doesn’t swear? Or, are you sure she uses beautiful language? I don’t think men and women use language differently. I think it just different from situation.

 And I searched website a few days ago, it post about man is direct and woman is indirect when they speak. But it is personality differences. If someone who can speak direct in front of people, it’s not all of men. My friend, she also likes speaking direct, she doesn’t like indirect or talking behind her back.

Joni Mitchell

Joni Mitchell

Joni Mitchell is a famous singer in Canada. She was born in Fort MacLeod, Alberta in 1943. She went to art school and started playing guitar and singing to make extra money. She started writing songs and people liked them.

When she was 9 years old, she got very sick with polio. So she started singing in the hospital. She got pregnant and had a baby girl in 1964, but she couldn’t take care of a baby.  She put baby up for adoption, so she didn’t see her daughter until 1997. Joni Mitchell got married with Chuck Mitchell, her husband took her to the US, they sang in coffeehouses together. She started writing songs for other singers, she wrote “Both Sides Now”, and it was a hit for singer Judy Collins. After she wrote many hit albums, she moved to jazz music. She retired in 2002, she made a comeback in 2005. For she was working, she released 18 albums, she won 9 Grammies. She worked with many artists in folk music and jazz.

In conclusion, she loved as a singer and songwriter in Canada and around the world. She influenced many singers. “Both Sides Now” was played at the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. And this song form the “Love actually” O.S.T.  I knew this song, but I didn’t know what she sang this song. I think she is a such singer, because her songs struck on many people’s mind.

Banana boat( water sled )

 I’ve ridden a banana boat, it’s the most extreme experience to me.

It’s called ‘Banana boat’ in Korea, I didn’t know exactly what it’s called it here. It’s called a water sled.

The main tube is yellow and banana-shaped. When you ride it, you should wear a life jacket. Because the driver of powered boat attempts to flip the banana boat upside-down when you ride a banana boat. Some boat tow a banana boat with a rope.

When I was a high school student, I went to the beach in Busan with my friends. We saw what somebody rode a banana boat, so we wanted to try it. Even we’ve watched a banana boat many time on TV, that’s why we really wanted to try. Before we were very nervous, it was a first time to ride. When we rode a banana boat, I was scared to death. After it was really good, it can my stress away. I want to try it again.

Vancouver

When I arrived in Canada, I was in Vancouver. At that time, my sister was also in Vancouver, so she wanted to hang out with me.

 

First time, we went to the Granvill island by mini ferry, it has romance and nice view. I saw many fruits and vegetable, there are many supermarkets.

 

And then, we went to the stanley park, so we walked for about 4 hours. When I walked at the stanley park, I saw many squirrels and I took pictures with my sister for a long time. I felt happy and I wanted to show our pictures to my parents.

We went to the Lynn canyon park in north vancouver. I climbed a little bit hill with my sister and crossed the suspension bridge. When I crossed the bridge, I felt scary because there is the valley under the bridge.

We returned to vancouver, and we ate korean food at a restaurant

 

 

I often went shopping with my sister or my friends at metrotown.

It's very famous shopping mall in vancouver and it has many brand shops.

So It's very comfortable to go shopping and it's easy to find the shops.

That's why there are many people on the weekend.

 

When I was in vancouver, I went to many places with my sister and my friends.

I recommend this places, because it's popular places in vancouver.

Spaghetti

When i was in Vancouver, i usually cooked a cream spaghetti.

I learned about a cream spaghetti from the Internet.

when i was a child, i've never eaten a cream spaghetti.

At that time, i thought it's really greedy. If i eat cream spaghetti, i feel vomit. That's why i didn't eat it.

But when i entered university, my friends wanted to eat cream spaghetti. I ate it first time, it was really plain food. when i was hungry, i wanted to eat it every time.

But it's a little bit expensive to me, so i thought that i'll make a cream spaghetti. I bought ingredient once, i could eat it three time, and then it was easy to make a cream spaghetti.

 

First, prepare the vegetables and boil the spaghetti noodles in salty water. 

And then, stir-fry bacons, mushrooms, garlics and onions in oil.

Next, put milk and cheese in a frying pan and stir.

And, put in the noodles.

Finally, boil and reduce to the right amount.

Fraud

When I was a high school student, there are many 'voice fishing' fraud cases in korea.
This fraud is extort money from the people by phone.
First, they said 'You owe a lot of money to the bank.'. They extort money from the embarrassed people.
Frist time, they don't think that they're scammed. But they are embarrassed, they already deposit some money unconsciously..
The victims want to the suicide because of money.
Second, they said 'I kidnap your son or daughter.'. They extort money from the parents.
The parents don't trust it, but they listen to child's voice. It's just pretending to child's voice, but the parents are embarrassed.
When i was in high school, my friend's mother came to the school because of this fraud.
There are still many this fraud cases.
Nowdays, this is changing another fraud, many people are scammed that. I want to  prevent of this fraud.
